Ciguang Industry Co., Ltd. was formed as a state-owned water meter and valve cores company in Ningbo in 1968. It transferred into private-owned company in 1996 and its development speeded up. Ciguang Timing Belt Company was one of the largest timing belt companies in Cixi City affiliated to Ciguang in 1989. The company further widened its manufacturing and acquired a new production facility in Panasonic early this year.
As early as 2002, Ciguang got its authority to import and export t products. An integrated "change" program designed to hone the company's competitive advantages for long-term growth, and to bring its vision into reality.
